Field service + managed services · by font11a

WorkSync

Do the work, then prove you did it. WorkSync runs the job from the phone in the field to the paid invoice — and tells managed-service teams exactly what they're on the hook for, and whether they've actually done it.

Certified beefly supreme.

What it is

Two jobs nobody should have to do twice.

WorkSync is one platform with two halves on one source of truth. One half does the work: capture a request from a phone, log the completion, and walk it to a paid invoice — quote, approval, invoice, payment. Enter the job once, on-site, and the paperwork stops following you home.

The other half proves it: pin down what you promised each client, then show the environment lives up to it — the job your docs tool, your PSA, and your compliance app each bill you for separately. The difference between "I think we're covered" and a list you can point at.

  • Do the work Field service, from the tailgate to the invoice.
  • Prove you did it Managed services, from the promise to the proof.

Why we built it

We didn't research this market. We're in it.

font11a runs a field-service and MSP shop — the same one you do. We were paying five separate bills for tools that refused to talk to each other, entering every job once on the truck and again at the desk, and answering "are we compliant?" with a confident shrug.

So we built the one thing that does the whole job, and we run our own business on it every single day. Partly conviction, partly nowhere to hide.

Field-tested by a field-service crew and an MSP. Both of them are us.

The old stack

  • A PSA
  • An RMM
  • A docs tool
  • A compliance app
  • A field app

One tool. One login. One bill.

How it works

From the tailgate to the invoice. From the contract to the proof.

Do the work

Field service

  • Capture it where it happens

Log a work request the second it lands, from your phone. The clipboard used to be load-bearing. Now it isn’t.

  • On-site, not at 9:47pm

Time, parts, photos — recorded while the job is still in front of you, not reconstructed from memory in the truck.

  • Getting paid is a job too

Quote → approval → invoice → Square, without re-typing a thing. The part everyone forgets is a part of the job, so we kept it.

Prove you did it

Managed services

  • Remember what you signed

The MSA said some things back in 2022. WorkSync keeps the list, so the QBR isn’t a group memory exercise.

  • Scope creep with the lights on

You’re managing things nobody put in the contract. WorkSync knows which is which — the kind of scope creep you can see coming.

  • Prove it, don’t vibe it

“Pretty sure we did that” is not evidence. WorkSync keeps the kind that holds up when a client — or an auditor — asks.

ScopeSync · proving it

Say what you do. Do what you say. Prove it.

Proof only means something once you’ve written down what you’re on the hook for. So WorkSync keeps three things honest and apart: the facts your team records, the scope they add up to — what you’re actually answering for — and the evidence that proves it. Different people, different jobs. Nobody gets to mark their own homework.

  • Facts

What’s actually out there, recorded by the people who’d know. The tech owns these and nothing else.

  • Scope

What you’re on the hook for. Derived from the facts, not guessed in a meeting. Conformance is meaningless without it.

  • Evidence

Proof the thing got done. Attested, with a name and a timestamp — not remembered, not assumed.

And then the part nobody enjoys but everyone needs: the things you didn’t know you didn’t know. WorkSync surfaces the obligations you never realized you’d taken on — before the audit surfaces them for you.

Least privilege, on purpose — not every tech needs the keys that can reset a client’s Global Admin. WorkSync onboards tenants the careful way, so the blast radius stays small.

Two ways to run it

One platform. Run the slice your shop needs.

A counter shop and a field-and-MSP operation want very different things from the same software. So WorkSync flexes: turn on the lean essentials, or the whole machine.

  • Counter & shop

Take the job, do the work, take the payment.

    • Jobs and tickets
    • Quote → invoice → payment
    • Customers and comms
    • Lean, and quick to run

The simple tier — the essentials, nothing you won’t use.

Pay per active tech. Two plans, with Enterprise when you need isolation guarantees on paper. Switch on the add-ons you actually use — and nothing you don’t.

Real numbers are getting their final polish. Want one? Let’s talk.

Who made this

Brought to you by Stephen and Stephen.

font11a is two people who got tired of entering the same job twice and answering “are we compliant?” with a shrug — so we built the thing that does both. Yes, we are both named Stephen. Yes, it is spelled the same. No, we will not be resolving this.

  • Stephen said like “Steven”

Answers to it on the first try.

  • Stephen said like “Steffen”

Has given up correcting you. Mostly.

Same six letters. Two completely different vowels. One company that refuses to pick a tiebreaker.

WorkSync was built with the help of Claude — a language model with strong opinions about typography and, mercifully, no vowel in this fight.
